Viviana Martinez is a transdisciplinary and research based artist born
and raised in Mexico and currently based in the Bay Area. Her work is located at the intersection of multimedia installation and photography. In her work she challenges traditional narratives and conventions of cultural uprooting, normative femininity, memory and grief.
