This is an open study space and place to bring your lunch and meet up with other students from Art Practice and beyond.
Eligible undergraduate Art Practice majors are invited to submit short project proposals to support immediate cost of art supplies and materials for one or more Art Practice classes.
“A CENTURIES OLD TRADITION OF TEXTILE: BATIK OF JAVA,” showcasing the art of batik and natural dyes with master batik artist Ibu Dalmini.
This group exhibition intends to examine individual vulnerabilities, family histories, self exploration, and cultural identities.

Welcome back to campus and the start of the new semester! Not only are we starting a new Academic Year, but also a new century of Art Practice, as we are now in our 101st year!!
We have a new senate faculty member this year, please join me in welcoming Assistant Professor Xandra Ibarra!! Professor Ibarra is an alumnus of the program and has taught as a lecturer for several years and we are happy for her to join us as a professor in Sculpture.
To kick-start the semester, I’d like to invite all students, faculty, and staff to the ART PRACTICE DEPARTMENTAL WELCOME EVENT: WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 12-1 pm at PLATFORM ARTSPACE (Bauer Wurster Hall) Please come meet new students, faculty, and staff, and learn about the exciting things happening in Art Practice this semester with pizza and refreshments!
