Senior Thesis Exhibit “Textured Overflow”
This semester’s Senior thesis exhibit Textured Overflow brings together a collection of reflections, dissections and examinations from roughly 60 artists. As the largest Senior exhibition in many years, the students in UC Berkeley’s Art Practice program move between the internal and external compartments of their personal, communal, and public spheres. The artwork encompasses a range of themes, from opening portals to new futures and identities, to providing critical commentary on familial and broader societal structures and relationships. Textured Overflow maintains a spirit of curiosity and exploration as many creatives navigate a transitional period toward their creative futures.
